LIFE DESIGN
First things first [Creative=ideas > exploration > cultural environments > observation > originality > innovation]
[Practice=labour of love/nobility/
Creativity is about generating and connecting ideas. Non-related ones. Constantly exploring new avenues and ways of thinking. Drawing the line between mindless intellectual consumption and mindful exploration.
Creative Practice is the ability to work within different disciplines (intellectual richness-knowledge against siloed departs) and mediums (tools of expression, many ways, novelty)
Visual design is my weapon of choice and my domain
- Empathy and collaboration is what I value above everything else. These elements of creative practice foster a possibility of achieving outstanding outcomes.
- The space where the digital and the physical overlap, its progression and direction it takes and where the substance of narrative thrives with human behaviour.
- Creativity is the art of telling a story, giving shape to ideals visually and linguistically, exploring and being constantly curious about the human psyche, using rhetorical reasoning (whatif).
- I started designing in high school by making personalized graffiti names for lovers. I felt so powerful in spreading love and reinforcing relationships. I was fascinated by this notion that we can empower ppl through design and experience, turn that which is performed and abstract to a visual meaningful manifestation
Actually, it started way back when I was a child. It started purely as art. I found solace in it and refuge. Then progressiveley transformed into an interest in serving others and meeting their needs.
Ever since I have been closer to GD, an ever expanding field that I hold so dear due to its richness to culture, meaning and aesthetic prowess.
I was under the impression that this work is all about expression and art, then realized that it is more about problem solving. However, as I continue to develop a reflective practice, I start realizing design is not exclusive to prob solving. To me, it is about creating possi both in an imaginative and meaningful way
